Quantitative PCR (qPCR) has enabled a wide range of real-time applications including comparisons in gene expression, genotyping and SNP analysis. To decrease operational costs, users are striving to reduce sample and reagent volumes. The Echo liquid handler provides improved data quality for 384-well and 1536-well assays while reducing total reaction volumes to as low as 250 nanoliters.  With no tips and no contact with the liquids whatsoever, the Echo liquid handler also eliminates any risk for cross contamination. The ability of the Echo liquid handler to transfer from any well to any well simplifies assay setup and with Echo Software Applications scientists use an intuitive, graphical interface to create complex transfer routines with just a few clicks.

Key Benefits:

  • Reduced operating costs and efficiently miniaturize assays
  • Improved data quality with transfer volumes as low as 2.5 nL
  • Eliminate cross contamination
  • Flexibly  design plate maps and setup assays with a graphical software interface
